See how far we can go. No pressure from the rest of the crew, just to get some experience from a world class tourney. See what level your skill hold you on 18th April 2010 at KLCC. This may our last change to enter a world class Tekken Tourney (Eventho its not really Tekken official) coz prolly Tekken wont be in the next WCG due to rapid changes on fighting game genre format for WCG.

Come faiti faiti~ join the fun, eventho you not entering, just come and watch and get the hype and experince for Tekken sake!

Intermission~

Okay,I lied! I wasn't able to do the MAJOR update on this nite, maybe tomorrow I am able to do so, it is all because it is too MAJOR. Demmit!!

But for that, let us all go to the Tekken 6 Global Championship Final. That was tonight (7th March) I wasn't able to watch it live streaming due to lack of broadband speed. So don't have much to comment, but from forum and websites much people talk of how interesting and heated the game are but some also complained on how some of the juggle missed and throw not been able to escape even from the top player match-up. (Proves the korean and the japanese are still human ^_^).



The result were: JCDR:Heihachi(Korea)*The man that defeated our Malaysian Steve* won on the loser bracket against Yuu:Feng(Japan). And for the winner bracket Nin:Steve(Korea) takes the trophy after defeated Boradoldol:Baek(Korea). Both the champ of the loser and winner bracket will go on round-the-world-tour-gaming-trip while the runner-up get to bring home a home theater sets!
There was another award to give, and that is The best player from outside of Asia! Won by Gen1us from France, came out 3rd in the Playstation 3 tournament.

Thats the best tag line for the Mini-Tekken-Tourney held at E-Curve last Sunday from Rashid after witnessing that there's no pig at the "Rustic Asia" stage. Even tho the tourney was only a testing tourney to see the crowds for the game. It was Da-Bomb! The healthy n wealthy support from the fan and the participant is what we really want to see from the Tekken comunity in KL. This shows that Tekken fighting game really live to its name and now the sponsor know what the fan a really made of, i bet there gonna be more Tekken Tourney be held in KL in the future.

Kudos to Bleed and his team (DX n Jalie) for winning the TEAMS and SINGLES tourney.!

Walaowei.. thanks to Benny for this latest update, its really blows my mind for a while. Tekken 6 for PSP??? Awesome guys, we can surely afford to play tekken casually every time, everywhere amongst ourselves. No more we need to spend extra bucks on HD tv nor 1K++ just for our latest next gen console. Yeah.. for those that already got a PSP, this is a great news for them.. but for the rest of IMTSians now we got an alternate choice for tekkening. And for those who planning to quit tekken. I think the God of Wind Fist still smile upon you guys. So long live tekken! Tekken to bone yeah!

T6:BR Spring Trailer for console.

Yeah as Bl33D mention theres no sign of Lars and Alisa. So the chances the console version gonna be T6 vanilla is getting higher. Prolly T6 with latest patch but without BR setting/new characters/customization etc... But still it worth buying any console for it due to the "online" features so we can challenge any IMTSians, any time, any where. Just get ready for the next battle!

Tekken BR changes (For Me!)

Oraito.. After a few day of Tekkening, here's what I find the differences between T6 Vanilla and T6BR. Im not sure all this is 100% acceptable , but some sogo casual agree with me in some part ^^.

- The juggle damage have been reduce a bit. Not sure if it is because of sogo machine setting (+2 if Im not mistaken) or the person making the juggle. But it seems likely juggle are no more taking chunk of life bar like it used to be.

-B! seems to be bounce lower. Meaning if you timed or juggle like in T6, most prolly you'll miss the B! extension part. You need to be in hurry to catch the B!ders or dash a bit for those who making fancy juggles!

- The hit less for better juggle is back. The fewer hit you come up with your juggle the more damage it implies. So, some people might thinking of maximum damage juggle rather than wall carries due to not familiar with stages!

- Rage damage also prolly has been tuned down a bit. Apart from rage launcher really damaging. This is a good think when applies to Paul deathfist and Mishima EWGFers. But my yoshi now need to suicide less! Unable to assume the right amount of lifebar it take if i do suicide~~

- Low parry system has been tweaked. After parrying kicks, it's harder to combo off since they seem to be pushed further back, short range pokes don't hit. After parrying punch, it is harder to connect anything at all!

- Wall slump looks and feel better for those who got hit by it, cause it is no more sticky like T6. Making it harder to catch if the jugglers out of their normal range. So chances of survival in a wall stages launches by rage characters are better now. Im not sure here izzit because of the juggler cannot catch it or wall can be tech quicker. So its either one ^^

- Spacing seems a bit different, smaller and tighter. My usual juggle starter seems to miss off quite a lot now. And my normal setup are no more a setup.

- New move is Ok-ok. Just to fancy up the game but not really help to bring more depth in it.

- Character size to normal staple combo really can feel it now. The bigger the meaner the juggle be!

- The changes of the announcer voice. Cooler.

- The game is not clear as T6Vanilla. Not sure because not using original machine or the graphic resolution needed to scaling down due to Full HD properties of T6BR!



Yah, thats all I think. Flame and blame me if im wrong tho.

ps:- Did you guys notice, the trailer has all the new stage of BR but doesnt show Lars and Arisa and at the end of the trailer it only show Tekken 6, not Tekken 6 BR. So prolly the one that will be release on the console is Tekken 6 vanilla!

TEKKEN CRASH.!

Yeah. At long last, Korean had made an official league for Tekken. Tekken crash! For those who know how starcraft rocks in Korea, and how they put up a show for all starcraft player in Korea. Now from the same people who brought them to life the MBCGame, created a new league for their Korean famous professional arcade gamer (ProArcGamers).!
Eventho it still on early stage but it still a worthwhile effort by Korean to show that you can earn your living just by playing video games. Owh how I wish I was a Korean ^^
